  • Where are you based?
    Minal Maugi is based in London, but available for bookings nationwide and worldwide.
  • Do you accept party makeup bookings or just bridal makeup?
    Yes, we cater for both bridal and party makeovers.
  • Do you do hair?
    Yes, Minal Maugi specialises in both makeup and hair.
  • Do you take bookings for destination weddings?
    Yes, Minal is available for bookings worldwide. Destination wedding bookings must be made at the earliest date possible from the date of travel, as they require greater logistical and administrative organisation.
  • Do you do bridal trials?
    Yes, Minal conducts a thorough consultation on the trial session to discuss your preferences and tailor the services to your needs and vision. Prior to having your trial, you will have a consultation on the looks that you are looking to recreate. This gives us a grasp of understanding each individual’s taste and vision. If you do not have a vision in mind, we will help you and advise you on creating a personalised look for your special day. You are welcome to bring your jewellery and dupatta in at the trials. Please enquire if you would like to know about our current offers on trials.
  • How much do you charge for makeup and hair?
    Please email us at info@minalmaugi.com for a quote, so our services can be tailored to your needs. Please ensure you include the date of the event, and type of event (e.g., Bridal, Sangeet, Civil, Party etc.), the number of people, location(s) and the time to be ready.
  • How can I secure my wedding date with you, and can I book you without a deposit?
    A deposit must be received in order to secure your wedding date and booking.
  • Can I get a refund on my deposit?
    No. All deposits are non-refundable.
  • What are the next steps after paying the booking deposit?
    Please let us know once the deposit has been sent so we can confirm that we have received your payment and secure your booking date(s). Closer to the time a text confirmation will be sent to you as a reminder with the booking details.
  • How do I get in touch and/or make a booking?
    You can email us on info@minalmaugi.com or alternatively fill in the Contact Form and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
  • How long will it take to do my bridal hair and makeup on the day?
    Bridal makeup and hair application and services will vary depending on the look created. On average this could vary between 2-3 hours, as a traditional Asian Bridal look will take between 2-3 hours and Pre-wedding events including English Wedding, Registry and Reception looks will take approximately 2 hours. This will be discussed during your trial.
